The PCIDA is general purpose four output video distribution amplifier. It conveniently plugs into any spare PCI slot on a PC. It's prime purpose is to provide extra video outputs for the PCIPrompt Card.
With the advent of Flat Panel On-Camera Units, prompting in colour becomes a practical possibility. These days computers offer a diminishing number of ISA slots and favour the much higher performance PCI slot for expansion. To address these points and to offer a feature-rich card to work in conjunction with our +WinPlus+ prompting Software, we have produced the PCI Prompter.
Of course, you don't have to use a flat panel on-camera unit to benefit from the new prompter card. It's standard composite video outputs are fully compatible with our range of CRT based On-Camera Units or any 525 or 625 line monitor.
